5 modern exhibition halls, 25,000 m2 of exhibition space, the most beautiful specimens of pigeons from the whole world, hubbub of business talks, the possibility of drawing knowledge from colleagues, interesting lectures and training sessions, great atmosphere and a huge dose of emotion – that is how in brief the 36th FCI Racing Pigeons Olympiad and the Trade Fair of Racing Pigeons and Accessories, which will be held on 25-27 January 2019 in Poznań.

 

The Racing Pigeons Olympiad, which will be accompanied by the Trade Fair of Racing Pigeons and Accessories, is an event of international rank, which is eagerly awaited by all breeders. For the second time already, Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie will host those magnificent birds and their proud owners. The Pigeon Olympiad is a very prestigious event carefully prepared for several months, during which authorities well known in Europe will share their knowledge about pigeon breeding and care. The three-day meeting for breeders enjoys great exhibitors' interest. By May this year, more than 80 companies from 7 countries of the world have already confirmed their participation. The offer will be presented by the manufacturers and distributors of e.g.: feed, medicines, supplements, cleaning agents, dovecotes, electronic systems, means of transport, or trophies. 

The deadline for submitting applications is 30 September 

This year, you can apply for participation in the Trade Fair of Racing Pigeons and Accessories in the EXHIBITOR'S ZONE portal, where you can order trade fair services, track their performance, receive entry documents, collect invoices and confirm your location. The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the Trade Fair is 30 September. – However, right now already 70% of the exhibition space has been booked. Thus it is worth sending applications earlier, to ensure a good location – explains Łukasz Rachubiński, Director of the Trade Fair of Racing Pigeons and Accessories. The exhibitors may also expect that their offer will be presented to a very wide audience. The organizers expect approx. 40,000 professionals. 

MTP Gold Medal competition

For the first time in the history of the event, the companies that have confirmed their participation in the Trade Fair of Racing Pigeons and Accessories can compete for the prestigious award – MTP Gold Medal. All exhibitors who have innovative solutions for pigeons made based on the utmost technologies and unique recipes in their portfolio are invited to participate in the competition. The Gold Medal is a prestigious distinction that has been awarded for over 30 years by an independent Competition Jury. It is composed of eminent experts and professors of various fields. The competition is organized by the World Trade Center Poznań, which actively promotes international trade. Gold Medal is an appreciated in the market recommendation of specialists, which emphasizes innovation and high quality of a product or service. In addition, exhibitors may enjoy one more award – MTP Gold Medal – Consumers' Choice selected from the products and services awarded the MTP Gold Medals. However, this time the best one will be selected by breeders. 

The Olympiad for the fourth time in Poland and for the second time in Poznań 

The organization of the Pigeons Olympiad in Poznań at the fairgrounds of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie is a great honour. The meeting dedicated to pigeon breeders and lovers takes place in Poland for the fourth time only. The two previous editions took place in Katowice, and one in Poznań. – Being the Olympiad technical operator and Trade Fair organizer, we are proud of the fact that play this honourable role – says Łukasz Rachubiński. – We hope that the experience gained will let us prepare an interesting event, which once again will combine passion and business, and help to increase interest in this wonderful hobby which is pigeon breeding – he adds. 

Olympic pigeons at MTP

The most beautiful pigeons will be presented in the modern Hall 7A. It is where you will have an opportunity to admire the Olympic specimens. Extensive offer for pigeon breeders will be located in Halls 6, 7, 8 and 8A. The total exhibition area will be 25,000 m2. The entire event will be enhanced by discussion panels, experts' speeches, as well as numerous lectures and seminars prepared with major industry authorities. In addition, breeders participating in the event will have an opportunity to use special zones. They will be divided thematically into relaxation and eating places. The total surface area of all the zones will be 5,500 m2. It should be noted that the catering zones organized during the Olympiad and the Trade Fair are characterized by very high capacity. – Each day, more than ten thousand people will be able to use the catering services – summarizes Łukasz Rachubiński. The Trade Fair participants will also use a parking lot for 1,000 vehicles in the area of MTP, and additional 2,000 parking places in the areas adjacent to the fairgrounds of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie.
